Ty Cobb - A Diamond in the Rough

Original picture of Ty Cobb from July 17, 1961 in a Detroit Tigers uniform.
One of baseball's first greats, Ty Cobb was a little rough around the edges. Though controversy could have been his middle name, Ty Cobb was loved by many and respected by all in the game of baseball. A fierce competitor, this Georgia Peach was baseball's first great showman. He was a money man who's smarts helped him both on and off the field. His career was and still is considered to be one of the greatest of all time.
